Anyone interested in playing tennis will find excellent facilities at TC Rot Weiß Jülich, with 13 clay courts and 2 indoor courts. The club offers a comprehensive package including tennis training with the Gronimus Tennis School, tennis tournaments, team league matches, and tennis camps for children, as well as special tennis events.
For those still unsure, trial lessons are available, along with a six-week provisional membership to gain some initial experience.
The club regularly hosts the Jülich City Championships at its facilities on Stadionweg.
Since January 2024, TC Rot Weiß has also been the first provider of padel courts within a 50-kilometer radius. Widely popular in Spain and South America, padel is rapidly gaining traction in Germany as a trend sport. Unlike other racket sports, padel is only played in doubles. The German Padel Association (DPV) organizes championships in this sport.
For the 2024 season, the club is already planning to register at least one padel team for competitive play. As the sport is new, the main focus will be on familiarizing players with this exciting game. With competitive padel in Germany still in its early stages, the first and second Bundesliga leagues are currently organized at the regional level. Players can already gain experience in tournaments on the German Padel Tour.
