„Easy Publikum“
The North Quarter has its own “economic center”: the Irish Pub run by Ross and Paddy Lynch.
„Ross Lynch calls the pub “his piece of Ireland.” The character of the place is defined not only by the wood paneling and rustic decor but also by the finishing touches: whiskey bottles are decoratively lined up, pennants of popular beer brands hang from the ceiling, and numerous photos of guests create a cozy, living room-like atmosphere. Friends gather here, resulting in a comfortable bustle. Students sit next to retirees, musicians lean against the bar with scientists, and council members chat with local residents—everyone is simply a guest. The babylonian language confusion adds the perfect touch to the charm of this local pub.
The Lynchs stay constantly engaged, always developing new ideas for their ongoing favorites, such as regular live music, “whiskey tasting,” “all-you-can-eat chicken wings” nights, and the Gamba special. One of the most popular events is the pub quiz—without a reservation, there’s no chance of participating.
