All elementary school are sponsored by the city of Jülich. Different educational concepts are offered: From the classic separation of year groups to flexible school entry phases. Open all-day schooling is offered at all schools.
According to the current procedure, registrations are not made at the schools themselves, but centrally at the city of Jülich, stating a “school preference”. The aim is to more even distribution of children to the individual school classes. The parents of future first graders are contacted by the city.
