December is the time that is all about Advent and Christmas. Traditionally, the Jülich Office for City Marketing organizes the “Jülich in Advent” event. For one weekend, an extensive supporting program will take place between the Hexenturm and Schlossplatz.
The illuminated Advent calendar is always an absolute eye-catcher in the truest sense of the word. Pictures designed by Jülich kindergartens are illuminated in the windows of the Old Town Hall. Every day at 5 p.m. – spread over three floors – the façade is illuminated by one more window.
