FC Germania 09 Kirchberg
The club in Kirchberg is one of the traditional clubs in Jülich Land. It was last celebrated in 2019 with a big sports week. Traditionally, the club hosts an annual sports week at the stadium on the Rur, which is often used by the local clubs for socializing at the obligatory party as well as games and fun competitions. For example, in the so-called “soccer tennis”, a coordination technique game with a net in the middle, which is not only about soccer talent, but also linguistic wit in the naming. Teams compete with the picturesque names “Asiletten”, “Trinkerbells” or “Eintracht Prügel”.
The Reimer Cup has been played with friendly clubs since 2022.
