Jülich offers a wide range of cultural and leisure activities for life after work. The town has more than 70 sports clubs, almost 50 clubs and societies that are active in the community – carnival, marksmen, May Day societies, historical clubs with events, village clubs, an art association, a variety of choirs and music and theater ensembles, clubs that reflect the international life of the town. The centerpiece is the Kulturbahnhof as an event stage plus a program cinema and party events. The city also offers a wide range of culinary delights, numerous pubs and three beer gardens.
