Well-being and health are taken care of in the city of Jülich. The medical profession is organized in the Jülicher Land Health Association, which was founded in 2003 and includes more than 100 registered doctors from Jülich and the surrounding area. The GJVL is both a network and runs the emergency practice at Jülich Hospital. In 2023, Jülich Hospital will once again be run by the city.
