Jülich is a bicycle-friendly city, although there is room for improvement. Currently, the mobility concept of the city of Jülich is working on enhancing the route planning.
By bicycle, you can reach all 15 districts from the city center within 30 minutes.
Continuous bike paths can be found from the northern district to the city center, as well as toward Brückenkopf Park and beyond.
At the train station in Jülich, the starting and ending point of the 13-kilometer railway path is located. The goal is to create a continuous and comfortably navigable cycling connection between the cities of Jülich and Aachen along the former railway line. The route passes through Aldenhoven and Schleiden.
